The
"stone" itinerary of the Eco-museum of the Mountain of Pistoia:
In the municipality of Sambuca there are many reminders of the stone works
crafted for architectural and ornamental use, which were also due to the
presence of the Comacini Masters. The quantities of materials and handcraft
skills have been handed down over time such as the art of quarrying, working
and using the stone. Regarding this, the ecological museum offers educational
labs and tours, among which there is the route following the road called
Francigena della Sambuca. For information contact Ufficio Cultura della
